don't take it to the dealership yet, there are people here that can help you fix it yourself... check the ignition switch as suggested and when you get the pressure gauge pull your fuel pump relay and jump pins 30 and 87 in the fuse box with the key in the on position... this should turn the pump on continuously and you can verify that it is turning on and creating enough pressure

However that occurs when the vehicle speed reaches about 2mph. From the Thread Starters description it sounds like the engine fires off and then immediately shuts off before he could even attempt to drive it.

Perhaps there are codes that are getting set that could help shed some light on what is happening??

Thread Starter, pull and post ALL your codes including the H or C or HC that follow each 5 character code.
I've got the codes: AO-LDCM- B2252 H, B2282 H, B2284 H, U1064
A1-RDCM- B2283H, B2285H, U1064H
I looked these up and I am guessing, but the only important one is the U1064H..... (Loss of communication with BMC)
What's your take on it, and where do I go from here.
Do you think I need to still do a fuel pressure test?

Well, I had planned on following Bills suggestions today, but I was just out of it today and will take it on tomorrow. The one thing that I don't think is understood about by the forum is. The only thing the engine will do by holding down the starter to see if it will keep running is. It will just keep cranking without firing. When it fires it immediately dies, with further cranking only firing less. I hope that may shed a better light on this problem. Sorry if I mislead everyone to thinking it ran for any time at all.

OK once I put a jumper across 30 and 87 on the fuse box. It fired right up. Also just before I did that, I did what Bill Curlee had mention. I cleared out the DTC codes and held down the starter to see if it would start while in the starter position. It momentarily fired but then just kept cranking. I check the codes, but nothing at all came up. I am wondering if I have a bad relay or something else? I tested the relay at the beginning of this before going with replacing the pump. I also did the fuse as well. Now I'm guessing: Maybe the relay is BAD! Switch?? or something else?
Yours and everyone else's views and suggestion where to go from here would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. At least now there is some light on the horizon.

take one of the other relays out and swap it in, any of the 4 pin relays in the fuse box will work... it's also possible that the pins in the fuse box have opened up and causing a loose connection to the relay

First off I want to thank you, and all the other great guys who's advice led me to solving this problem. It turns out to have been the relay all along! I spent a lot of money, time and sleepless nights thinking that either the new pump or filter was defective and would have to be changed out again. Anyway! I learned a lot in the process and found a better way to remove the pump and put it back in than pictures I had seen at another site. I took pictures of everything I did and maybe can pass on to others on what I found in replacing my pump.

Unfortunately this may have been the original cause of the problem meaning you possibly changed out many good parts.
It was the relay even though I bench tested it in the beginning before I went the route of buying a new pump and filter. If I had only checked the voltage to the relay or ran a jumper like was suggested by someone. I would have (hopefully) found it. No matter what! Today I'm One Happy Camper! Thanks to all you guys who took time to help me out.

awesome man, glad you got it fixed... we have all been in similar situations so don't sweat it, as long as you learned something throughout the process it's not such a bad thing

Well if you want to make a thread about changing the fuel pump with pics, i would appreciate it.
I want to change mine out with a 255lph to support my nitrous.
