The filter indicator on my Blackwing came apart on way home tonight and I am thinking this is the cause of the Check Engine Light and P0101 code.
Appears that this indicator, GM 15173007 has been discontinued and not available. Anyone have a source for this thing? Otherwise I am just going to plug the hole. Have had this for less than a year and it comes apart...not sure if I have all the pieces or not.

The filter indicator on my Blackwing is not a GM part - it was made by Donaldson as part of the filter assembly. I have an older Blackwing (circa 2003) so not sure if SLP who I think now distributes the Blackwing has changed things or not. It would help if you would post up a pic of exactly what part you are looking at. If it is the air filter indicator, you might try SLP for a replacement.
I agree, the filter indicator is made by Donaldson but has GM 15173007 on it and using that number shows to be a correct GM part number, just discontinued and not available through GM parts vendors.
I took your advice and sent an email to SLP to see if the indicator is available.
I doubt that this is the cause of the Check Engine Lite and P0101 code that I just got, so still investigating. So far have not found anything. Will likely back-probe the MAF to see if it is working.
