Ok I’m use to gears (ring and pinion) costing about $200 and putting them in in an afternoon.
So what’s the deal with the corvette? ($1800) for gears, and why does everyone seem to just sell the differential outright?
Is there something really special about this differential that I just can't take it apart and put in a new ring and pinion?
