Re: having trouble lowering the front end (mikeerb98)
The way you lower the front end is to screw the bushing end/head of the bolt as far into the leaf spring as possible. With my 2k Z-51 I had an original
gap approx. .500". I also cut off two of the washers flush against the middle washer so that I had a 1/8" pad of rubber on the last washer next to the bolt head. This lowered my front end 3/4" verified by before and after measurements at the top of the wheel arch. With the occasional scraping of the front spoilers and framesavers, I dare not lower any further.

Yup, bolt as far in to the black spring as possible. Can't remember which to turn but it sounds like you went opposite. I did this too, dropped it, drove it around looking up at the sky because the front was so high, duh  .

You did it right. Drive the car and let it settle. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks for it to settle completely.
I don't know what model Corvette you have but Z06's don't drop much. Z51 suspension drops ok but not as much as standard suspension. The standard suspension will drop quite a bit. I know these terms are subjective but I don't have actual measurements.

:yesnod:
Drive it. Takes a while to settle. You'll notice it after the first time out but give it a while longer to totally settle. Then get a 4-wheel alignment in a couple of weeks.
