Glad you liked it. Now I can leave the little lady alone instead of having to drag her into the garage and yell orders at her like, "No! Don't release the pedal yet!"
That's my exact situation. My wife was always complaining about having to do the brake pedal routine. She was relieved that I got the Power Bleeder. Now I'll need to tell her that Patches told me Power Bleeder doesn't work really well without FLP headers! :D
I got my self hooked up with some Speedbleeders and they definately make the job a snap. I'd say they are well worth the price even if you just do your brakes once.
One question: One of the rubber caps on the bleeder screw keeps popping off when I press the brake. I assume this is due to the screw not being tight enough, but I'm afraid of over tightening and damaging the brake. Anyone seen this? I'm just tightening down till they are 'firm' with a small wrench (real accurate, eh?).
One followup, I notice that the screws don't quite seat all the way... maybe 1 thread is still exposed. I tigned them down a little and no fluid seems to be coming out, so so far so good.
I saw a power bleeder in the MidAmerica catalog and was thinking about getting their "Heavy Duty Metal Bleeder w/storage case". Does anyone know how it compares to the bleeder offered at http://www.motiveproducts.com/?
