My brother has a 1999 LS1 corvette. It is in the process of having long tubes put on. The shop said the EGR tube needs to be extended and the X pipe he has will not mate up to his Corsa catback.
Could the EGR/air just be blocked off with some block off plates?
Does anyone know if Stainkess Works x pipe will mate up to a Corsa Catback?
if your talking air infection system for the Cats. yes I took all mine off and used block off plates on the headers and had the tuner tune out that system.

That must be the AIR system I'm talking about. Where can you get block off plates for the headers and pump?
If it's a full X back to the muffler connection; they should fit. None of the cat back manufacturers change the connection point AFAIK.
You can use block off plates if allowed where you live, but you should disable the system, and you will have to have it tuned out so you don't get dash warnings.
The shop doing the work said the X Pipe is 3 inch and the axle back is 2.5 inch at the flange so it would not bolt up. X Pipe and headers are SW, the axleback in Corsa.
On the AIR injection system what is the best place for block off plates?

the block off plates go on the headers if they have the air injection ports, not all have them. My XS Power x-pipe is 3 inch but the flange to the Cat back is 2 1/2 ??? and most X-pipes are ????
