Doing a little diff up grade. Have Hoosier carbon fiber clutch going into C5 Z06 diff. Want to buy Hoosier bellville washers as they (Hoosier) suggest they should be used with their clutch packs. No problem - they are only about $11 each until you get to checkout where they want $50 to ship them. These could go in an envelope or $5 USPS box. Talk about rip off or "Corvette TAX" !!! Momma didn't raise but one fool and it wasn't me. Any supporting vendors stock these or members have access to reasonable pricing?
Thanks

Reason: Spelling
$50 to ship some washers is . I think I would call them and ask what is up with that.
Similar to what I went through this past week......I needed to order some more checks, so I go to the supplier's website, and 2 "boxes" of checks, in other words 200 checks, is $33.50. Their "recommended" shipping, 5-7 working days and "trackable", is $45. That's an insane amount to begin with, to send an oversized envelope, plus it's more than the check order.
I chose the cheapest option, which was still $16.......
What's wrong with using the OEM ones? Work good. Last long time.
Almost everyone that breaks down a stock C5 diff finds cracked or broken washers courtesy of genuine GM washers. I'm going aftermarket on these pieces.
Thats why u do the c6 z06 washer up grade (its heavier duty) and u can do the c6 zo6 carbon clutches too, The parts hoosier are selling are oem gm parts..... for c6 zo6
Pete,
When I took my diff apart, one was broken.
I swear!
Anyway, I bought both right and left 4340 shafts and the C6 Z06 clutches from DTE as well. I guess they changed ownership.

Did not know this! Are you positive? What's your source of info? Not doubting you, just want to be sure - this is good info!
I answered your same question in another post. Yep, I saw the DTE parts at Bowling Green many years ago. If you compare the C6 Parts to the C5 parts; The C6 Parts are MUCH BEEFER. I provided you the hoosier link in that post not knowing that its the same as DTE.
I cant say if the parts they sell are rebranded C6 parts but, my Gene Culley (CULTRAG) provided C6 springs are working fine in my car.
