How to connect AIM Dash to PCM RPM Line???
2001 Z06, C5 stock PCM.
I have completely removed the IPC. I am attempting to connect the RPM sense line of the AIM MXG to the RPM (engine speed) output of the PCM. Specifically, from the PCM pin #10 on connector C2, white wire, that would normally connect to the iPC a pin A17.
Anybody with experience doing this?

What I have figured out so far, is that if I put the IPC back in, then just tap the RPM line and connect it to the AIM it works.
I tried an experiment to supply +12V battery to the circuit, but that didn't fix it. The IPC seems to put out 11.5V DC compared to the battery at 12.5V

Try a 10k ohm pull-up resistor between 12V and the AIM input where the PCM connected. If that works, but sporadically or with a wrong reading then try a lower resistor like a 5k ohm or 1k ohm.
