Car didn't want to start at home. Never done this before. After several tries car started and ran great. Drove it 40 miles and pulled in to get car inspected. Now it won't start and says pcm 0410C. Checked fuses and relays to air pump and fuel pump. Appears to be fine. Acts like it's not getting fuel. Shop doesn't have a clue nor do I want them working on it.

Replaced Micro Relay for Air Pump as well. Cleared P 0410 C code before I found out that I shouldn't clear P codes. Then drove the car about 20 miles, stopped for gas, headed for home and checked for codes. Not sure if it should have or not, but in @ 45 minutes of driving, it did not throw the 0410 code again. Not sure what this means but I hope it is a good thing???
If you fixed P-0410, you will know for sure after a cold start. The PCM does not know if the A.I.R. pump is good until it commands the pump to run.
That run command would be immediately at cold start OR during part throttle cruise when a bunch of other conditions are met. If you didnt meet all those conditions during your trip home, the DTC would have remained off.
Drive it again today and report back the results. Good luck.
Checked the air pump on a cold start yesterday morning per Bill (the man) Curlee. Worked great - lots of air blowing. Drove it around yesterday with some highway driving and a couple of errand stops. Took it in for inspection and it passed with flying colors. Now just have to give the state their pound of flesh (tag and taxes). Thank you to all for your help - Mike
