Default Help with clutch needed

I have a 2003 Z06, no modifications 25k miles, original clutch.

I have been experiencing a problem with the clutch which is getting worse.

I have followed the Ranger method in the past so clutch fluid is clean but I am experiencing the pedal sticking before it comes fully back up (sticks at about 1 inch or so from top). This is not after running the car hard but has been happening increasingly. Originally it seemed to be worse when car was cold and when it warmed up seemed to get better and the clutch seemed to be operating normally but it's pretty much happening constantly now.

No apparent leaks.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Stuart

Bleed the master and slave, if no results replace master. If no results, replace slave. That's the only answer I can give based on your assertion that this doesn't only happen when you run it hard. Good luck!

100% AGREE!!

You can also attempt to do a complete system bleed at the slave cylinder bleed ****. Its a ROYAL PITA but it may help get ALL the old fluid out and any air that might be trapped in the slave.

Thanks for the responses guys, i'm assuming this is going to be something pricey to get done (I don't have the skills or facilities to do it myself).

ABSOFRIGGENLOOTLY! It can get real expensive. 75-100 bucks an hour PLUS PARTS!

Maybe you can find a C5 FRIEND in your area that can "HELP" you do the job.

That way you can learn about your car and save a LOT of cash.

Go to your local car shows and ask around and you will find someone or a local hot rod shop that will be a fair price.
