Default Big Block/Small Block?

what is the difference?

I'm just waiting for the answer;

"the big one is bigger than the small one"

visually, you can glance at the size of the heads and valve covers and know a BB when you see it. might be some rare one off 700 cu inch LS platforms that cost more than the blood of Christ, but generally speaking you can eyeball it.

physically, there are a few differences. namely that BB's can make poor daily drivers and just fine race engines because of weird oiling issues they tend to have at low RPMs. no clue if you can mod that yourself, because..

these days, there's virtually no reason to run an oldschool BB. unless you just have the parts laying around. or love to rumble like your own 4 wheeled thunder storm. they did sound pretty damn cool.
