Default Steering Column Check

I just got a 4-wheel alignment and I noticed that the steering columnl lock notice on my computer is on to greet me when I first start up my car. If I hit reset, it goes away ... until I start my car again. I know there's no issue with my steering column because I've taken care of the recall on that years ago.

How do I get that warning to stop ?????

Thanks in advance

Most common cause of the column lock symptoms is a weak or bad battery or loose or corroded cables including at the starter solenoid.

GM Column Lock Recall Service was never a permanent fix to the column lock symptoms. NEVER!!!!!

Get and install an LMC5 and do the "brown Wire Mod explained on the 2nd page of the install instructions when you do the install. That is the PERMANENT correction to the Column Lock Symptoms.

Listen to the expert 8VETTE7 unless you're a gambling man and want to try your luck at being stuck somewhere in a dark alley at midnight.
