Ok I have been neeting my brain trying to figure out what is wrong.
I just replaced the compressor along with every other piece of the AC system as the previous owner pulled most of the pieces for weight..
When I go to look up my set of AC gauges that I have used on plenty of other cars I am not getting any readings from them. I thought maybe the valves were bad on the ports so I changed them out and nothing.
I have been doing research into if there is some set of adapters that you need for a c5? Any help is greatly appreciated.
My harbor freight gauge works fine. Do you have the ***** on top of the quick disconnects tightened? I heard if you tighten them too much you can damage the schrader valves.

I read that too so no I havnt tightened them too much.. I guess if I cant figure this out Im gonna have to bring it to the shop
If your car has LT headers the A/C lines often actually touch or are so close to the exhaust tubes that the A/C lines get over heated and the AC will not work--Most always everyone has simply to bend the AC lines away from the exhaust tubes as far as you can and the AC will work normally
With the HVAC system OFF, the system should equalize and both lines should read approx. the same pressures. USUALLY 50-60 psi.
See if you can read the system static pressures.

So I think my gauge set is bad.. It seemed like they were blocked off so I decided to just hook one of the lines directly to the vacuum pump and it immediatly made the compressor bog but there was no suction to the line.. Guess I need to go buy another set
