Autotap...Version 1 or Version 2? Help!!!

Autotap...Version 1 or Version 2? Help!!!
I have a bad Autotap unit that is being sent in for repair.. My dilemma....
Should I let them give me version 2 or make sure I get Version 1 back..
Version 1 - Support DOS (no longer made) Supports the latest version of the Windows software.
Vesion 2. - NO DOS Support and Only supports the latest version of windows..
I am only using Autotap to log runs for tuning with LS1-Edit..
What is your opinion?

Can I assume from your question that you use the Windows interface mainly? Otherwise, your use of DOS would require Version 1. I'm currently using ATap Pro with Windows software 2.x, and it's working just fine on my Dell laptop. If you're using the Windows interface I'd go with Version 2, since we don't know how long older hardware versions are going to be supported.
