I have a small oil leak coming from my oil sending unit but in the process I need to clean out and replace gaskets on my intake manifold. I want to remove the manifold but not the fuel injectors.... I need precise instructions on how to remove the intake manifold pls. C5 2004

And use a very strong vacuum cleaner to get around the manifold prior to removal. A lot of fine sand seems to collect and when you pull it can fall into the intake ports of the heads. Vacuum the intake ports once the manifold is off as well.
As I recall, manifold needs to be removed and installed with the rear two bolts inserted so make a split rubber hose to hold them up until the manifold is in position.

Thx I will definitely use a strong vacuum cleaner and an air hose to air hose to blow out and get everything loose and then vacuum it all up really good and as I am removing
