Default HVAC circuit fault

I am having trouble with the HVAC circuit in my 2001 6 speed convert with dual zone temp control. She has around 80K miles.
One morning when I went out to start it the HVAC fan was running with the car off.
Driving to work, about 10 miles, the heat and defrost were working.
After about 6 hours parked the battery was dead. I got a jump and drove home but noticed that now the HVAC wasn't working.
I assumed that because the battery was 3 years old it needed replacing, which I did.
The next morning the car was dead again.
The # 51 fuse was blown in the fuse box in the passenger compartment.
Reading some post here I figured the temp control or fan was at fault and pulled them. The fan was not clogged with debris and I found a temp control on ebay for about $18 delivered.
Now with the fan, temp control and #51 fuse OUT, the battery was dead again the next day,
I am at the end of my talent and need help.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Well this is embarrassing but I chose to start with the easiest check first and with the car in a dark garage I found the interior lights on.
I wish all my electrical problems were this easy.
Once again thanks for the help.
I'll put the fan assemble back together soon and hope the control module change out corrects that problem.
