While you have the cluster out you may as well change the HUD indicator bulbs and the DIC bulbs. The bulbs are Neo Wedge T5 and T4 if memory serves me. I disassembled the incandescent bulbs from the base and inserted 12 volt LEDs in the bases, which saved me from searching the internet for these tiny LED Neo Wedge bulbs . I didn't have any guidance regarding polarity so I had to go by trial and error. The result was brighter, crisper light for those controls. I liked the results so much, I went on to replace the bulbs in the window switches using the same technique. I used amber, but there are lots of color options.
Here's a picture of the bulbs. I took the bulbs out of T5 LED bulbs and inserted them into the Neo Wedge bases.
Thanks, @helphos I actually bought a kit from a vendor that allowed me to change the bulbs in all the switches to LED. A bit easier than manually transplanting the LED into the housing.

Good point, Morpheus! I'm retired, and this was a minor part of a HUD repair job that involved removing the entire dashboard, replacing my ignition switch and other "while I'm in there" chores. So, taking apart some T5 LED lights and replacing burned out bulbs in the DIC, etc, was a fun challenge, and a natural extension of fixing the HUD by replacing a broken plastic hinge pin with a carefully selected tiny screw!
The next time any of my other instrument panel lights burn out, I'm going to revisit this thread and replace them with LEDs!
