Engine misfire dilemma
My 2001 Z06 has developed a misfire in the #3 cylinder. I did a test of compression, ignition and fuel. The compression came in at 140 on a dry test. The spark was tested using a timing light and by taking the spark plug and grounding it. Both checked out. Fuel injector seemed to be functional by the smell of gas from the spark plug opening. The problem still persists after doing all those tests. The plugs and wires are brand new. Is there something else I need to be looking at?
