Re: What does a complete basic nitrous kit go for? (TexCorvette)
Depends on what you want...I was looking into this before I got my cam installed and for a 150 dry shot with all the safety bells and whistles I was told between $1000 and $1800 for all parts and install. The $1800 was for a wet kit though...the dry kit was about $50 cheaper than this...if you want exact prices you can check with the guys in the Forced Induction/Nitrous section of the forum...
Re: What does a complete basic nitrous kit go for? (TexCorvette)
Well to answer your question, a basic (wet) nitrous kit, without the bottle warmer, with our the switch panel, with out the purge, should run you no more than about 500.00 I have seen them higher (some kits lower - "Nitrous Works" I think is lower - The 2 kits I have liked are TNT & NX though) but you figure about 500.00 is the average cost just for the basic kit, now you add the purge, bottle warmer, switch panel, ect.... you looking to spend another 300-500 bucks.... Look around at some of the site's that are selling nitrous, ill tell you one thing though TNT is probably on the higher side its a very nice kit, even though i run with a NX kit and wouldnt trade it in just yet, TNT does make a nice Kit.... Also for more information call up the manufacturer and ask them to recomend there best places to buy the kits at the best prices, thats what I did a week ago when we order a Kit for a buddy on his B-Day!!! Got a good deal and he was happy!!!
