Generally, the 10xx codes are not considered too important unless they recur frequently. Most of us get them once in a while, and they all relate to loss of communication between modules.
Also, generally, it's safe to clear a history code ... but stay on the lookout in case it recurs. Most of the history codes will clear themselves in 40-50 ignition cycles, unless there's a recurrence.
If you're going to look at the codes and think/worry about them, you should invest in a service manual. Each DTC is described in some detail. Even if you don't do the service yourself, it's a great source of info, and at least lets you be informed if you have to take it to a dealer. Manuals are available from Ken Fichtner, direct from Helm (www.helminc.com) or you can sometimes find them on eBay.
