Headlight Wiring Harness Retainer Clip
Hey guys,
I had to fix one of my headlights a while ago. Huge shoutout to this forum, especially https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...orialized.html, for the guide.
One thing was missing - the wiring harness connector itself is clipped to a panel under the hood. Of course, there was only one mention ever of this, and the link to the photo was dead, so I had to go in a bit blind. So for posterity, here's the photo (attached.)
Technically you can just push the harness off the clip, but mine was not cooperating. I took long thin needle-nose pliers and pressed on the sides of what I (correctly) guessed were the clip to compress it while I pulled up; that did the trick and allowed the clip to come out non-destructively.
