Ordered new Remflex header gaskets and obviously they were bent during shipping causing it to break in a few places. They are not completely broken all the way through. I really dont want to go through the hassle of sending them back but if they are no good now I will. Give me your opinions.
Going by the picture, I'd use them as long as that's the worst damage. Those look like graphite/metal composite. The graphite makes it kind of like a self healing gasket. But with a thick soft gasket, you will be checking your bolt tightness more often.
Dont need to check tightness at all once its torqued. I've ran them for years without any issues. If any cracks or damage don't use them, says right on the package.
