So it was a beautiful day out last Friday and I'm driving the Vette around town, I stopped pick up a friend and decide to go to my place to get a few things. I put the key in and .. pull key wait 10 sec .. then service column lock. The Vette is dead right in the driveway. Lady Luck was on my side. I could have been anywhere else that day but thankfully I was in my own driveway. I had no idea what was going on or what to do but thanks to this forum Its now fixed. I ordered the LMC5 that day and installed it on Monday with no problems. Thank you Corvette Forum
This forum has been a life saver. Without the knowledge I acquired on this forum, I could have been stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time (thank you LMC5).
I could also have ruined my motor (replaced yellow valve springs with blue springs on my 2002 Z06).
Every day I learn something new about my car on this forum.
Thank you members.
LMC5 is a Lifesaver! One little gremlin with it and I am sure others. I had my car down for sometime getting a trans and clutch redo. If your battery goes dead it can kill the LMC5. I guess I was the first for this to happen? So if you are going to let your sit without a Battery Tender for awhile Unhook the Negative cable. Guy at Compliance Parts however help me Diagnose it and sent me a new one out of warranty since this has never happened. What a great company!
