Default Cooling fan settings

What's up brothers. I'm going to be installing the Diablosport 93 octane tune. I would also like to change my cooling fans to come on sooner then the stock temps. I'm looking to keep the temps at around 200 degrees. Can anyone please gimme some specific temperatures to have the low speed and high speed cooling fans go on and off. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx.

without a cooler thermostat, this wont do that much. it'd simply start to cool sooner, but probably never lower your coolant temps anymore than you've already observed. combining it with a lower temp thermostat is what really makes adjusting the fan temps more useful.

that said, i run a 160 thermostat, fans on at 190 and off at 180 or something like that. that would work for you in a street car, because if you're doing winter driving and the temps start to get lower than desirable (you dont want them TOO low) you can use the fans to modulate the temps. i can actually push my coolant down to 180 pretty easy with the racing radiator and enormous oil cooler. with factory cooling, it's unlikely the "off" setting will ever really trigger.

With stock temp Tstat. I'd have the low speed come on around 205* and
the high speed come on around 215-220 ish.
So your regular temps will run around the 200-210 range.
And that's a GOOD Thing on LS1. They like to be warm (in stock type settings)
