Hello evertone
I would like to wish you all happy Easter.
As I mentioned before I unplugged the lateral accelerometer as well as the yaw module.. as well as the power steering positioning module.. I checked both of the orange / black wires and there was power on both instead of only one. I then unplugged the electronic brake traction control module.. I checked that plug for all good connections check the ground and cleaned up the ground post on the frame rail and of course there were no power on any orange/black wire.. and then I plugged electronic brake traction control module back up and the problem was still there..
any ideas
Thanks again.
Max

I understand what the code means however what I don't understand is there a 2 orange and black wires one is supposed to be ground and one is supposed to be live with five volts.. I have unplugged the steering position sensor and check those two wires and the results are the same I have also checked them at the lateral accelerometer and unplug them as well I had all the modules unplugged and I tested those two orange and black wire directly at electronic brake traction control module and the result was the same both of those wires have power and there is only supposed to be one with power. I unplugged the cord off electronic brake traction control module and tested the orange black wire and both of them were at zero volts. In my rationale is it safe to believe that somewhere inside electronic brake traction control module there is a short that put power into the other orange black wire...
And judging from the same process of elimination I don't think it would be the power steering position sensor module especially since there are no wires hooked up to it...

I appreciate your help and I find it very disturbing that most of these modules are not available and what are they want you to mortgage your house to buy them. It's a good thing I love my car did I mention I also have a tractor that can dig holes.... LOL happy Easter
