Any advice on shifter install?
Guys I have decided it's time to upgrade the stock shifter and just wanted to know if it's a pretty straight forward job? I know how to remove the console so that is no problem, but as far as swapping out the shifter is it pretty much just unbolt the old and put the new? Just wondering if there are any critical steps I need to be aware of. Never replaced a shifter before. Going with the B&M precision sport. Thanks

Yep, super easy. I just installed that exact one. The directions it comes with are actually totally sufficient. I'd say it took me about 20 minutes total. Honestly the worst part was getting the factory shift **** off because of the stupid pin.

Sounds good. Glad I don't have to worry about the pin since already have an aftermarket ****!

make sure to properly align the shifter, you can use an allen wrench to hold the position if you don't have the original pin... I would also replace the pinch bolt that holds the shift rod to the shifter box with something better... I have found that an old header bolt with blue loctite works perfect
