Default My first Vette build

Hey all,
I am a long time browser and minimal poster, but I'd like to start getting more involved the community here. I have had my Vette for about 4 months now and love it (98 Targa). So far I have added C6 ZO6 shocks, bypassed the VATS system, overhauled the interior, added a remote start system, added a double din nav, replaced all speakers, dual ram CAI, fixed headlights, and upgraded to drilled and slotted rotors. This week, I'll be rebuilding my top end and adding LTs and an X-pipe. Here are the specs and pics of the parts of my build:
1 7/8 LT 3" x-pipe
Comp Cams beehive valve springs
7.425 push rods
281/283 .571/.573 LSA 112 Comp Cam and lifters
42lb injectors
Holley EFI 102mm TB
Holley 102mm Sniper EFI
Holley tall powdercoated valve covers
New plugs and wires
I'll be doing this all at once and plan to do a Yank 3600 and 3.90 gears in the near future.

Side note: Any recommendations on a decent performance Auto tranny?

I was going to say change those headlights first, but then read that you just installed them.

You have been busy in the last four months - that's a lot of mods in a short time. And it sounds like you're going to have a mod filled weekend with the rest of the installs. Good luck getting it all done.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Jack. I tend to get a little overzealous with new projects. Luckily I'm pretty handy with a wrench, so here's hoping all goes smoothly. Any one know of a good mail order tuner that can add my mods?

ECS or Chuck CoW are the 2 most widely used from the forum I believe.

Now that you mention it, I do recall seeing proponents for Chuck CoW on another post. I've read good things, but it's a bit of an investment IIRC, I might as well do a dyno time for that price. I'll look into ECS, thanks.

Are you going from drive by wire to a cable operated throttle body? Asking because of the picture you posted.

Default Hey Chris.... Here's the issue......

Hey Chris.... Here's the issue...... Yes, the tools and tuning are a bit of an "investment",

but clearly you've made an "investment" in parts for he vehicle and not just any tune will work.

A "quickie" mail order or "starter" will NEVER get you 100% of the value or promised gains from the expensive parts you bought.

MY TUNING PACKAGE is totally different. I offer the ONLY wideband remote tuning solution guaranteed to get you

100% of the benefit of the parts you ordered. Also, for another conversation, I'm questioning some of the parts

you bought, but we can talk about that later.

1 visit to any dyno shop...and you're $600. in the hole..... and you won't ever get what I offer. Go back a second time

with a problem or adjustment..... and your investment grows.... and the performance might not.

Have a look at my AutoCal w/ serial wideband package..... Unlimited re-tunes as necessary and 100% assurance that your

tune is ON THE MONEY.

Nobody else on this forum offers anything like what I sell.

CLICK HERE FOR AUTOCAL WIDEBAND INFORMATION

If you want it right..... this is how you do it.
