im leaking water from the rear of my motor, by the starter .Its not the heater core. I have a vortech v2 supercharged LS2 402 with LS6 heads, is there a water line hooked to the rear of the heads like the front?

There is a brass plug in the block above the starter that could be the source of the leak
you mean a freeze plug? i was hopeing it was a line like in the front going into the heads, i cant see back there but i feel the water almost were the heads bolt on. i dont think this is gonna be good

There are coolant ports on the heads in the rear same as the front because the left and right heads are identical and interchangeable. Mine are capped off with gaskets that are the same as the steam tube on the front. They could be leaking and you may have a cross tube back there. If so maybe it broke off. If you have a tube back there then I would replace it with caps (like the LS1/6) if that is what is leaking.
The freeze plugs are really thick. It is possible but unlikely that one failed unless the coolant froze IMO.
