Default HVAC codes B0367 and B0361

My AC has just started acting up. Air no longer blows out of the driver side or passenger side vents -- I do however hear the fans spinning and I can control their speed through the HVAC control head unit (dual climate control). However, air does blow out of the floor vents on both the driver side and passenger side and on the dashboard. I am also getting codes for B0367 and B0361.

I read here that no air blowing out of the vents means there is possibly a vacuum issue? Where should I start looking? Which lines? I am not familiar with the HVAC system so I'm looking for something that has pictures of what I am looking for.

The codes also suggest I have actuator issues. Anyone have experience replacing/fixing them? I read the the passenger actually needs to have the dashboard removed in order to get to it. Driver side is much easier apparently?

Can broken actuators result in no air coming out of the vents even through I air the AC fans blowing?

Your help is appreciated!

The actuators are known to fail.

They are not expensive but removing the dash is a bit time consuming.

Here is a link to an old thread that might help.https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...l?forum_id=103

Thanks for the reply. But does it sound like I have two issues? A vacuum issue (based on no air out of vents) and actuator issues (based on the two codes)?

There are two electrical actuators and one vacuum actuator inside the dash....actually there might be two vacuum actuators....do not remember for sure now....has been a year since I had the dash out.

I replied to you in my posting regarding the driver's side. Access to the passenger's side requires dash removal. Not difficult, but best to have two people when time to lift dash out as that blasted Emergency Flasher connector is a PITA to get off and can only be accessed with the dash lifted....hence why I say two people needed.

I think it would be very odd for both actuators to fail at the same time....to me more likely the HVAC controller....much easier to remove.

Good luck.

If I were gambling I would say replace the actuators because they are known to fail and even if they aren't bad, after this many years, they are about due.

I can't say for sure but here is another trouble shooting thread.https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-it-b0361.html
