Camshaft upgrade
I know this is a loaded question but I would like some guidance please. My balancer is starting to wobble and as long as I'm in there, a couple more bolts and I can do my cam. I currently have tfs cast 220 heads, vrx4, and dorman intake. I was looking for some more ponies and torque of course. The btr stage 4 interests me a lot. So, as long as I'm in there would it be a worthwhile change? Just a guesstimate on what kind of gains I would see? If it's 5 or 10whp I probably won't but if more I'll strongly consider. Since you've already got a VRX4, doubtful a bigger cam would make a whole lot of difference. You'd gain a little but for $400 (typical new cam price) you'll have to make the decision if it's worth it. All depends on you.
