Default Maggie oil capacity

I know how to change the oil in the mp112 but what i don't know is the oil capacity.
i have read some places its about 4 ounces. And i know the level is just under the fill/drain plug. But its not like i can see the level through the fill plug.
can anyone please share your thoughts on this?

I'd probably call Magnusen and ask. Other option may be to treat it like a rear end and fill until it starts to drain out the fill plug?

I called Magnuson said these units don't need oil change.
they also said the level is well below the fill/drain plug. But they didn't give an exact measurement.

Interesting. Pm Pewter99. He has one of those kits that was recently gone through, new bearings and oil. Maybe he can help.

Here's a link to his FS add for it...

Np, glad to try and help. I'd be very curious to what you find out. I have a TVS2300 here that will be going on soon. It should be very similar to yours, just a little newer.

i am curious to know what the actual capacity is now.

And also i used a windex spray trigger to pull fluid out and attached a clear hose to a syringe and poured fluid into the syringe just like a funnel.
both times car was warm and parked in the same spot.

I spoke with magnuson today and they gave me the following info:

MP112 holds 8 oz of fluid
TVS2300 holds 6.09 oz of fluid

Thanks for all your responses.

I was told by David @ SOL that the Corvette MP112 unit uses 180ml/cc which is a hair over 6oz.
