Passenger window leak
1999 MN6 coupe:
I discovered a small water leak from the passenger side window while washing one day. That windows always had wind noise that i thought was normal, but on close inspection the window was maybe 5mm lower than the "lip" in the weather stripping that its supposed to sit in. The drivers side is nice and tight all the way up.
I adjusted the tip in some (towards the car) and the fine height adjustments. Got it almost all the way up (giggidy) but not quite perfect. Road test revealed most of the wind noise was gone and I avoid rain when I can, and usually do a dry wash so I wasn't super concerned about water.
Then the other day keeping up with traffic on the highway it suddenly developed a serious air leak. So bad that I thought my buddy had opened the window. I assume this is the "blowout" that can occur at higher speeds. when i slowed down it gotbetter but still worse than before i had adjusted it.
SO, my plan is to readjust and actually take the panal off to do the gross hieght adjustment and get it perfect. Is there anything else I should be doing? Messing with the blow out clip? (Had a hard time finding info on how to adjust it, if you can. Mine are about half way between a and b pillars on both sides). Is there a method to making sure the tip in angle is correct? Right now its adjusted as far in as i can go eithout straining the door pnal when moving the window up and down.
Sorry if this has been asked and I just couldn't find it. Thank you in advance for any help.

with the door shut mark the glass with a marker at the front and back so you can see how far you move it each adjustment.
use the glass mounting bolts to adjust fwd/aft and up/down.
note: moving only one side up or down will have the reverse affect on the opposite side.
use the bottom adjustment bolts in the door for glass tightness to the seal.
close the door with a dollar bill in between the glass and seal. try and pull the dollar out. if it is too loose adjust in that direction. it should take some effort to pull it out.
if no amount of adjusting will tighten it up. replace the seal
