corroded fuse box 2003
My horn failed and the dealer pulled out the relay and showed me that one of the four pins was green. He said my whole fuse box was corroded and needed to be replaced. I have read descriptions of removing the fusebox. But no description of what is involved in switching out/replacing the corroded fuses and just transplanting the still good fuses. How much time might a dealer charge to do this? How hard is it to do it myself? Any special tools/meters needed? And finally, has there been a dealer recall on my 2003 base model for this problem? I am new to this forum and hope you all forgive a limited vocabulary dealing with this potentially very expensive matter. Thanks...(ps this car is kept/stored in a Pennsylvania carport for 7 months/winter of every year with battery removed)
