turn signal issues
Those symptoms are more likely the multi function stalk (MFS). Also a common C5 failure.

Indicators:
1) No brake lights except 3rd light
2) No turn signals
I pulled the center console, ac control and radio. I could reach the switch with some difficulty but better than pulling dash.
