Clutch / Shift noise
First time was a firm acceleration in 4th. (car not fully tuned since old fuel system cut off at 4500 so I only play lightly with the car right now.)
Second time was a downshift into 3rd which put the engine to maybe 3k rpm.
Third time was a very slow/casual start in 2nd from an almost full stop at a light.
The noise itself sounds like if you put two flat pieces of metal together firmly and rotated them against one another. Think metal version of chalk on a chalkboard.
In each of these cases I immediately go to neutral, then back to the same gear in two cases and a higher gear in the first case. The noise is gone and does not repeat.
Clutch is Macleod rst. Fidanza lightweight flywheel. New couplers (6 shooters). And tick master cylinder.

Is the clutch properly releasing when fully depressed? (Does the car creep forward when you have the clutch depressed and trans in gear?)
Does it properly or fully engage when released? Does the clutch SLIP under full power? (You may not be able to test this until its tuned and you can achieve Full Power and Torque)
Who installed the clutch and did they take into consideration if the slave cylinder needed to be SHIMMED to achieve the proper clutch engagement and the clutch disk release air gap.

2 - yes. All set.
3 - unknown fully, but wot to 4.5k yields 430rwhp and no slip. Also, the condition happened when half throttle and also at almost nil throttle/rpm. Strikes me as odd and suggests that it does engage properly in the intervening several thousand shifts.
4 - a shop that came and went. Unknown. But the tech did a lot of ls1 work. Best guess? 50/50
