Default Wiring question for a additional fan

I am hooking up a relay harness for a pusher fan on my trans cooler.
The wiring harness stock setup has the fan only controlled by its dash switch.
So the fan circuit is always hot, even with the engine off.
But I want this fan switch to only function when the engine is running.
So rather than connecting the relay harness directly to the 12v post next to the underhood fuse box, where should I connect the 12v supply that will only be active when the engine is running?

Since your switch is going to be located in the passenger compartment this seems like the ideal choice for a switched source. JMHO

I am aware of that switched wire location. But those are already in use for other interior mods.
So I was hoping to tap a switched source in the fuse box under the hood as the relay harness is mounted there along with all the other relay harnesses for HID Fogs, HID H&L projectors.
