Default Dead Window - Advice Please

So here is the story...

Yesterday I replaced the speakers in my car, front & rear.
Windows were down the entire time, car in the garage so I never put them up.

Today I moved the car outside to do some work in the garage, and the pass side window wouldnt go up, I could hear a relay clicking over there, but no movement.

I pulled the inner panel off, reconnected the switch & the window went up, then down, up, down, up... etc.

I put the inner panel back on, buttoned it all up, and the window wont go down, I pulled the inner panel again, no joy.
So right now, the window is up, but it doesnt move, even though I hear a relay clicking in the door or pass footwell area..

Any advice appreiated, Im thinking the motor might be an issue, but dont want to just throw parts at it if the issue may be elsewhere..

TIA.

This may be a temporary fix if it works. I did this method 6 months ago and have not had any further problems.

My recommendation would be to have a spare regulator on hand for when the "fix" stops working.

LOL!! I was thinking the EXACT SAME THING!

Start with the six pin power connector in the door A pillar (remove the rubber accordion tube) and work your way to the regulator and look for damaged female pins and or poor connections.. GM uses very POOR QUALITY female pins that tend to spread apart due to heat/vibration and connector service.

Find a spare male pin that is the SAME THICKNESS as the pin in the connectors that you are examining and see if you have good grip on the male pin when you insert and extract that pin in the female pin.

If you find a LOOSE or poor fitting female pin, that COULD be the source of your power issue. If that relay isn't getting full power, it wont work properly.

The actual MALE PIN gets inserted into the TOP (outboard edge) of that connector.

The one that is bent down didn't have any GRIP on the male pin. The other ones had plenty of grip.

Like I stated previously, C5 GM Female pins SUCK!

As usual Curlee is right. I just lost all the power to my driver's door. My mechanic found a shot female pin. The good news is that he just replaced the pin - not the whole connector.
