Tire Size?
Does anyone know what is the largest size tire I can put on stock y2k wheels?
I bought some chrome y2k wheels with tires and the left front is bad. I figure instead of buying two new run craps I might as well put new tires all the way around on.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I went to 255/40-17's on the front, and 285/35-18's on the rear. These are a little wider and a little shorter in diameter. They fit fine, and the diameter change in the rear will make the car feel like you swapped from 3.42 gears to 3.53's. That, and the change in weight from losing the run-craps will make your car accelerate better. Good conventional tires will corner better, stop faster, be quieter, and hook up better. ALL AROUND better. Just invest in a flat kit or a AAA card. :cheers:
