I am looking at buying a new fuel pump assembly and I came up with 2 part numbers. Old part number 19330864 and new part number 19352603. Is there any difference in the 2? I would assume that the new part number has upgraded the fuel level sender part. I have found both for sale with the old part number being a little cheaper. Thanks in advance for your help.
are you looking for just a fuel pump or are you trying to get the whole assembly (bucket, sending unit, level sender, etc)?
Yes I need the whole assembly. The dyno (hack) shop that I first worked with said I needed a high flow external pump and disconnected and cut off/plugged the tubes coming out of the factory pump. So major vapor lock happened with the external. My first set up was a 255 pump with a boost a pump. They burned that up by doing 3 quick pulls on the dyno. My 3rd set up was the 04 tank install and aeromotive stealth pump and it cavitated right away and now won't hold fuel pressure high enough to siphon the fuel to the drivers side tank. This was several years ago and I haven hardly driven it since. Had the car since 05 and put 1,000 miles on it.

dang... well it sounds like you are going to build a fuel system and just mainly need the sending unit, have you tried ebay?... I bought a complete spare driver side tank with the sending unit and everything for like $120 and used it to build a different setup while the old setup was still in the car... Marc at vettenuts is also a good source if you decide to go with a used unit
I am getting a little old and don't like getting under the car much so I am looking to buy a new unit and I really don't want to risk the problems of a bad fuel level sender. Will probably sell the car in the not to distant future and would like to tell the buyer that it was done right.
Update: Purchased new discontinued pump. Thanks for input.
