Default got a little problem

During a stereo install i had to disconnect the battery from the car to sneak wires through. apon reconnecting, the radio says LOC and it appears to need a password. I bought the car used and don't have a password. How can i get around this so my music will play??? and my remote entry won't work either.
Thanks a lot, Justin

Haven't had the problem myself, but I did a search for you, using "LOC", and found this link. Hope it helps you.

Unless you know a dealer service dept. pretty well, you will probably have to take it in. Its about a 5 min process, but getting the info over the phone is difficult as it defeats the purpose of the theft deterrant. The factory service manual tells how to retreive the initial code from the stereo, but does not give you corresponding code to unlock the system. that is why you need the dealer
