Diff Leak, Strange?
Last night while waxing my 04 in the shop I noticed a small puddle of something had leaked onto the concrete at the rear of the car. Just changed the fluid in the T56 last weekend so I thought I might've not tightened one of the plugs up enough. Got her up on jack stands & double checked the tranny plugs, dry & no signs of leakage. Noticed that the driver side of my differential was a little wet looking, passenger side bone dry. I've read a few threads on here about the differentials getting overfilled with fluid at the factory & it slightly leaking out of a vent tube. I suspect this is the culprit, but it seems a little strange that it just started doing it & I've had the car for several months now..thoughts? Will be purchasing new diff fluid & posi additive later today, been wanting to change it out anyway. -47k miles

Clean up the mess and monitor. That's about all you can do.
Pop out the fill plug and see where the level is at. I CAN NOT imagine that your 13+ year old car is having a factory over fill issue.
