DIC /HUD Button Light Won't Go Out
Hey guys, the Vette sat for 4 days over a long weekend and then would not start. It jumped right off with my booster buddy and all was good until it sat for 3 days again then would not start again. (I know drive it every day But I have to show the 81 some love also). So after scouring the web and corvette forum I have figured out that the lights for the DIC & HUD buttons are never going off. My research has found that this is controlled by the BCM and more so the IPC. My question is does anyone have drawings for the actual instrument cluster that shows these lights and how they are controlled. I have looked at the drawings in the shop manuals and can not find these lights. My car is a 2003 Coupe that I drive daily unless I take the 81.

I had the same problem. Here's the resolution and also a temporary workaround.
