I have a 2004 LS1 and was going to change my PCV valve. I got out my repair book an found a picture of a hose running from the Throttle Body along the top of the right valve cover over to the back corner of the left valve cover. When I toke off the covers on my engine I have none of this type of pluming . The left valve cover has a plug in it and the right valve cover has a 3/8 hose from it to the throttle body. No PVC valve ? Has any one else run into this. It looks factory...?????
Thanks...It was odd that in the owners manual it listed a PCV valve part number for this vette.I guess the manual was printed before the vette was finished being tweeted.
I know this is a little old, but not nearly as bad as others I've seen.
I too was just looking for the pcv valve on my 2004 and thought I was going nuts. Glad to see I am not missing it.
That being said, is there anything that can still fail in the 2004 style inside the valley cover? I got some codes the other day and one repair option was to test/replace the pcv valve looking for vacuum leaks. Would suck to take the intake manifold off for no reason.
