Suggestions on 6.5" components
I just replaced the radio in my 2004 with a single din (temporary until I upgrade to double din) and it sounds horrid. Even with the adapters to make the door subs work, the sound is flat and lifeless.
I need a set of good (~$250 max) 6.5" components (mid and tweets) to put in the doors. No plans for a sub so the mids will need to serve as bass drivers. Will run off head unit (don't want to bother with external amp). I plan to mount the mid in the door and then look at mounting the tweeter in the a-pillars.
