Bought a 2001 convertible need some knowledge please
Bought the car this week and have a few issues that could use some help with please. 1. The hood light doesn't come on. 2. The Electrochromic rear view mirror doesn't work or map lights? 3. How does the courtesy light on the drivers side come out? 4. I put a CD in the player and won't go in all the way and a ERR code comes up. Small things but irritating, I guess I like things to work. Car runs great 24 MPG strong engine one owner 63000 miles. I appreciate any help provided. I'm a C3 owner as well but know little about C5s, willing to learn. Thanks ALL in Advance.

On the CD issue, hit the "eject" button on the radio and see if a CD pops out.
If you think a CD maybe stuck in the radio, hit the CD button on the radio and see if anything plays...if it does, then you have a CD already in there.

nothing happened, looked inside the best I could you have to lift
a curtain type partition by sliding something through it and I see
nothing that is in there, tried again with a disc goes in 7/8 of the way
and you hear a humming sound for about 20 seconds then spits it out
and an ERR shows on the screen?
