after weeks of no results from various repair places a chevy dealer gave me a name of electronic repair center.

Took my unit there. free estimate. called me several days later and told me would be $79.00. Picked up when done.
Place is HUGE and they do all dealer in US from what I understand.

My stupidity
changed control bulbs to blue LED. figured since I had out might as well change the 14 bulbs in back. after pput it back the hud buttons and the mileage readout no longer worked. Plugs OK but could not figure out.
Turn out when I changed the bulbs some contact points broke and lost some power? at least that is what they said. Either way working now like new
