Default C5 transmission size?

C5--how far from rear tire centerline to tip of transmission? plus how wide is transmission at that point?
I'm building a 89 Batmobile and thinking of using C5 drivetrain. Just not know if transmission would enter interior space or not. Batmobile interior area is little smaller then mazda miata..

The Keaton Batmobile was built using 2 Impala chassis' and has a 141" wheel base, a lot longer then the the C5. Do you plan on frabrication a new chassis to accept the C5 drive train or are you going to cut down the body to fit the C5's wheel base ?

I did a lot of research on this car as I was going to build one as well......just got to be too damn expensive once I started adding up the $$$$$$

BTW That's me in the middle with the crooked belt

Building the Batmobile the most used chassis is 90's Caprice. I cut the body off my very low mile 95 Police car. Even using it you have to cut and add 20+ inches. The engine is moved back 18" because it can't sit above front tires. With the body sitting on my garage floor it's like 25" where engine sits. The tires (non-shortened axle) Mickey Thompson Sportsman 33x21.50 rear & 30X12 front. Every single part from chassis to interior and to be hand made/built and yes even frame. So using the C5 drivetrain can be done if the rear transmission doesn't go into the small then Maita interior.
95 Caprice dimensions vs 99 Corvette: Width 77.5 vs 73.6 no big deal really because Batmobile is 7.5' wide at rear-end (90 inch's). Wheelbase 115.9 vs 104.5 once again no big deal engine don't sit in factory location, Front track is 61.8" vs 62" along with Rear track 62.3 vs 62.1... Batmobile dimensions are 21' long, 7.5' wide, height lowest part of hood 25", roof 33" rear fins 5.5'
I have the Caprice frame under my body right now. I'll get my dimensions later today. Plus I'll take photos showing the room I have.

Photo shows the body sitting on stock height Caprice frame. The interior is smaller then a Maita :o
Guy is Indianapolis says people in Corvettes look down to see him in the Batmobile...
