2000 C5 Left Front Wheel Lock Up
My 2000 FRC Base Model has a problem with the left front wheel locking up when making a right turn. The ABS modulator de-activates and wheel 'lock-up' releases when steering is straightened. This occurs when turning a corner at slow speed before being driven more than 10=15 miles. I have replaced the flexible brake line, wheel bearing assembly and electrical 'jumper' cable from the bearing assy/ABS speed sensor to the connector on the frame with no result. The DIC display shows 'Check ABS and Traction Control System' until ignition is turned off. The problem stops when the sensor cable is disconnected. I have been advised that an electrical (wiring) problem is more likely than a failure of the ABS modulator. Any suggestions for further troubleshooting will be appreciated.
