I recently purchased a 1999 Convertible Corvette. It had leakage in the transmission, 6 speed stick, and also the rear end. I associated this from the low mileage that was on the car, 9310 miles. I made an appointment with a local reputable Chevrolet Dealership to get the work done and fix the problem. They did just that but when I pulled the car out of the dealership and went to shift into 2nd gear it would grind when I let the clutch back out. This does not happen every time. Probably 50% of the shifts. I did take it back in to the dealership and they have worked on the problem but can't get it corrected. When they did the work on fixing the drips that the car had they had to remove the exhaust, whole rear end assembly and remove the linkage off the transmission. I feel something did not go back together on the linkage the right way which is causing the problem?
I would appreciate your comments on this problem.
