Left rear tire pressure sensor dead..need help
Hi all. I was just told at my dealer that my left tire pressure sensor needs to be replaced and my DIC is stating to replace the tire pressure monitor system to be checked. I some day want to replace my runflats with non runflats. How do you reset the computer so you don't have the computer setting the code to check the tire pressure sensor. Also, do those who don't use runflats have tire pressure monitors and how do you tell the computer that you don't have runflats and sensors anymore? Will the computer set off a code to tell you something is wrong if you use non-runflats and no tire pressure sensors?

They said it costs 126.25 to get a new one without labor.
no thanks if I'm gonna replace the runflats anyway. What do you guys think?

I had a sensor lose its reading one day for no apparent reason, I simlpy did the reprogram with the magnet and has been fine ever since. I would try that before buying a new sensor. Also you can look for a used sensor here on the forum, you can easily change them when changing tires form what I was told, all you might need is a new o-ring.
